Life Coaching

Do you feel like you’re at a crossroad in your life or that there is an area of your life that needs further development? Do you feel like there is ‘something missing’ or ‘something more out there for you’? Maybe, you know that you need to make some positive changes but you’re not quite sure how to do it on your own. All your answers are already inside you; you just need some help to find them.
Coaching has been known to boost confidence; improve self-esteem, performance at work and relationships with others; as well as helping to build effective communication skills. Some of the most successful people in the world have used a life coach: Oprah, Leonardo DiCaprio and Serena Williams are among the many celebrities, entrepreneurs and world leaders who have benefited from working with a life coach.
What coaching isn't:
Counselling or therapy which unpick your past and work through things that are often painful/uncomfortable for you, to enable you to move forward with your life.
Mentoring which is the guidance of an ‘expert’ who imparts knowledge, experience and wisdom in their area of expertise to enable you to move forward.
What coaching is:
Coaching is a confidential, non-judgemental person-centred conversation between the coach and the coachee which guides the coachee to reflect on their thought processes and actions and enables them to gain a secure self-awareness and refocus their thinking about themselves and their potential.
Alongside your coach, you will undertake a personal enquiry into your own life. Together, you and your coach will examine your current position in life and what your goals are. Your coach helps you to ask yourself the right questions about where you want to be and put actions in place to enable you to live the life you want to live and be the person you want to be. You are the expert on your own life!
Coaching focuses on the present and the future, however, it is sometimes necessary to talk about the past in coaching sessions.
